What We Collect
When you visit bynryfoundry.com:
- Standard server logs (IP, browser, page views, referrer, timestamps) – automatic, used for security and to keep the site working.
- Cookies, including analytics cookies if you don’t opt out (more on this below).
When you contact us:
- Whatever you tell us – usually name, email, phone, company, and the message itself. We don’t ask for more than we need.
When you become a client:
- Business contact details, contract info, billing details.
- Project material you share with us during the work, handled under the confidentiality terms in our engagement.
When you engage with us on social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, and similar):
- Public profile info and any messages you send us through the platform. The platforms themselves collect more than that – what they do with it is on their privacy policies, not ours.
When our founders uses LinkedIn’s Member Data Portability API for their own personal automation:
- Their own published posts and reactions only – fetched with their own consent, used as examples for an AI tool that drafts posts in their voice. It’s first-party data of one person (themselves), it stays on our private server, it’s never shared with third parties, and it’s never used to train any AI model.
How We Use It
- To answer your questions and deliver the work you’ve engaged us for.
- To send invoices and project communications.
- To improve the website.
- To meet our tax and legal obligations.
- To send occasional updates only if you’ve opted in. Reply “unsubscribe” any time.
We don’t sell your data. We don’t profile you for ads. We don’t pass anything to data brokers.
Cookies
bynryfoundry.com uses cookies for three reasons:
- To make the site work (session, security) – these are essential.
- To understand which pages people read, in aggregate (analytics cookies – you can opt out via your browser).
- Because some embedded content (videos, social widgets) sets its own cookies, controlled by those third parties.
Who We Share With
Only the service providers we need to do our work: web hosting, email, accounting tools, and the AI/cloud APIs we use to deliver projects. They get only what they need for the task. Per their API terms, the AI providers we use don’t retain or train on the data we send them. We also share with regulators or legal authorities if we’re legally required to.
That’s the full list. No advertisers. No data brokers. No surprises.
International Transfers
Some of our providers (hosting, AI APIs, social platforms) operate outside Malaysia. We rely on their contractual and security commitments, and we send them only what they need.
Your Rights
You can ask us to:
- Show you what we hold about you.
- Correct anything wrong.
- Delete it (where the law lets us).
- Stop sending you marketing.
Email info@bynryfoundry.com. We’ll get back to you within 30 days. You can also complain to Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Department if you think we’ve mishandled your data.
How Long We Keep It
- General enquiries: up to 24 months.
- Client records: duration of our engagement plus 7 years (for tax and legal compliance), then deleted.
- Server logs: up to 90 days.
- Marketing list: until you unsubscribe, or 24 months of inactivity – whichever comes first.
Security
We do the basics seriously: limit access to people who need it, encrypt data in transit, keep systems patched, and review our practices regularly. No system is perfectly secure, but we don’t take shortcuts here.
Children
Our services aren’t aimed at children under 13. If you think we’ve collected something from a child by accident, email us and we’ll delete it.
